Fall Break 2007

We spent Fall Break Kansas City with my younger sister Teresa and her family. Ashlyn opted to spend this time with her dad, so she missed out on the fun! Friday afternoon we went to the Cider Mills, where we were able to see how they make their cider. We also enjoyed a hay ride and the 8 acre corn maze. They had a small pen with a Shetland pony w/foal, Mama pig and two piglets and then there was also Mama goat with a baby; they were so cute, except for that Mama pig! Saturday night we went to Worlds of Fun and enjoyed some of the roller coasters. Kyler even rode the Mamba!

Neighborhood Cookout

Tonight we hosted a cookout with several of our neighbors; celebrating both Mike and Ben's, birthdays. It was also in "support" of National Good Neighbor Day, which is tomorrow. The food was good and the company was great. A good time was had by all!!!

Tonight we attended the 100th Centennial Oklahoma State Fair. The kids rode until they almost puked!!! Mike and I each rode one ride a piece, that is all we could handle!!! I managed to capture a photo from the top of the Ferris wheel, so cool!!!

Weekend Getaway

This past weekend I went to visit my baby sister and her family up in Kansas City. Unfortunately I don't get to spend as much time with them as I'd like. I got to spend some fun time with my sweet niece Rian; she is so much fun and is such a little doll!! Teresa and David, thanks for being such great hosts; we look forward to seeing you again soon!!!! Last night we enjoyed a "Girls Night". For those who don't know, this is me and my little sis, Teresa.

Labor Day Weekend

I don't normally like to post unless I have pictures or something really interesting to post about. I've got pictures of Mike high on his pain medication after surgery Friday; but I guess I should be nice and not post those. He is feeling better little by little and is hoping to be back at work by Wednesday. Kyler ended up in the ER this afternoon, he has an ear infection. I've not heard Kyler scream from pain, like he did today, in a long time. He finally gave into exhaustion and fell alseep while waiting for the dr. Of course we got out of the ER after 6pm and the pharmacy was closed. Hopefully, we'll make it through the night without any drama!

Oh yeah, our OU SOONERS won their season opener last night!!!!!!

Kyler is riding to/from school with our neighbor's son, Brenden. Brenden's mom, Shannon, sent me this picture of the boys taken before heading off to school last week. Yesterday was Tristan's 1st birthday, he is Brenden's little brother. The picture of the three boys was taken at his party. Is he not the cutest?!?

First Day

Well we managed to make it through the first two days of school, yeah!!! I'm such a bad parent, I forgot to take pictures of the kiddo's on the 1st day; I did however, manage to snap a picture this morning. Enjoy...

Last Day

Sunday was the last day for the Moore pool to be opened. Of course the kids had to enjoy one last day of cool, pool water in the hot, hot sun!! Kyler just recently learned to jump off the diving board, so of course I got a picture...
